Tile & Stone Restoration Technician
NUVOCLEAN Surface Restoration is the industry leader and preferred choice in tile and natural stone repair and maintenance in Vancouver. We clean and restore marble surfaces, limestone, travertine, terrazzo, granite, and all other types of tile and stone.
We mostly work on floors, countertops, shower stalls, outdoor patios/pool decks, and stone building façades.
There is always a high demand for our services, and we are growing fast so we're looking for hard-working, motivated, and friendly people to join our team of professionals.
This is a highly-skilled technical position that requires dedication to learn the trade, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to serve customers by providing the best quality workmanship possible with a friendly, and caring demeanor.
We offer:
- Paid training starts at $25/hr
- Earning potential fast-track to $35/hr
- Extended health and dental benefits
Job Requirements:
- Valid BC Drivers Licence
- Good English communication skills
- Able to operate handheld power tools and floor machines
- Able to lift equipment weighing approximately 50 lbs
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in tile installation/stone fabrication is helpful, but not required
- Previous experience in other related fields that would be beneficial include
- car detailing
- janitorial work
- carpet cleaning
- any home services work
